So this is our swag little pup Lady, that we originally found wandering the streets in Geraldton almost 2 years ago (first pic bottom right). She's since made herself at home in Balmain NSW, and is wildly famous in the region for her Meerkat stance (she can literally stay up like that for ages!) and general cuteness. When she's not being a hard ass guard dog that is. She's an absolute rascal, but Aaron and I wouldn't have it any other way. If it wasn't for the amazing ladies at Geraldton Dog Rescue we wouldn't have our little munchkin, and we're furever grateful.
This is my loving and loyal friend Stella! We rescued her from GDR about 9 years ago when she was unwanted. Thinking we rescued her, she really rescued us!! We love her so much.
We brought home our sweet baby boy.. He has brought an energy into our home and settling in nicely. Much love for this little boy. Xxoo
We said farewell to our little companion of 14 years Bundy. He found us through Geraldton Dog Rescue way back in 2001. He leaves us with a lifetime of memories and wonderful times growing up alongside our kids. It is difficult to comprehend a future without him in it. Geraldton Dog Rescue please keep up the good work and allow others to enjoy the same experience as our family.
I just wanted to say thank you for introducing us to Mini. She is now a much loved family member and has retained her foster name although my partner often affectionately refers to her as Miniature the First. Rather regal I think. Attached is a photo of Mini when we first saw her and of her in her favourite spot in the garden.
Totally in love with our new dog Tyson (aka Webber). After the death of our old dog we were all so sad and our dog Fifi (aka
Priska) was devastated and got highly anxious and unsettled. Thank you to the two Jens and everyone at GDR who looked after Webber - now our family is complete again. Fifi loves him so much she is even letting him share her bone collection. He is such a happy cute and clever fellow and has fitted right in. Thanks again you all do such a fantastic job, just blessed we can give another rescue dog a new forever home.
Ex-GDR Jedda playing some fetch in the sunshine. We love this girl to bits!
Little timid and scared rescued puppy Cindy has grown into a loving, and very loyal dog who will be soon three years old. I just wish that Geraldton Dog Rescue could find home for many other dogs like Cindy.
Charlie and Pippa (formally Phantom and Tootsie) enjoying the sunset with me at the beach - adopted Charlie in 2011 and Pippa 2014. Thank you GDR for my best mates.
We would just like to say a huge THANK YOU to Geraldton Dog Rescue for our beautiful little girl. She is a wonderful addition to our family and she is so very good with our two little kids. Our kids are aged 3 and 18 months and she has the most loving little personality. She just lays on the lawn and the kids lounge on her and she just thinks its wonderful.
Very tired after a trip to the parlour.
Our lovely Hopper.
Our beautiful Rex, rescued with your help....life's great!!
I recently adopted Rocko. We renamed him Rocky as he responded to that. Rocky has settled in well with myself and my teenage daughter Rebekah. Rocky now walks perfectly on the lead and he loves all of the attention he receives. He is such a loving dog and great around little children. Rocky also loves going for rides in the car with myself and my daughter.
Hello. Just wanted to let you know that we think you do a great job! We have a dog which we got from Geraldton Dog Rescue 2½ years ago. Our girl, Chloe, was one of 13 pups. Her mum was left tied up, pregnant with no food or water during summer. Thankfully we saw her picture in the Geraldton Guardian when she had just been born and we just couldn't bear to not have her. She is a fantastic kids dog, even though she is so big - a little bigger than we expected her to be! Chloe is ever so gentle. We all just love her to bits. As you can see by the photo she loves the beach. Thanks for doing a great job.
